Marie Desharnais

Marie DesHarnais, P.E. is a Project Engineer at BKBM Engineers, where since May 2014, Marie has designed primary structures for wood, steel, and concrete buildings while collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality and adaptable design solutions. Prior experience includes work at SEIT and as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where simulations of temperature-dependent material behavior and progressive collapse were developed. Additional experience includes an Engineering Internship at Meyer Borgman Johnson, focusing on structural calculations, and a role as a camp counselor at Crosswoods Adventure Camp. Marie holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2012 and 2014, respectively.
