Jacob Nguyen

Principal at BKF Engineers, Inc.

Growing up, Jacob enjoyed doing home improvement projects around his parents’ house and decided to major in civil engineering in college because of its “hands-on” nature. After finishing graduate school in 1996, he joined BKF and is now a Principal. Over the length of his career, Jacob has worked on a variety of projects including residential development, corporate campuses, universities, civic facilities, and affordable housing.

He feels very fortunate to be involved with many high-profile Bay Area projects such as the Warriors’ Arena in San Francisco, the Oak Knoll mixed-use development in Oakland, and Stanford University. He also enjoys working on projects that are used by everyday people, such as traffic roundabouts and multi-use trails. Clients appreciate Jacob for his proactive approach and easy-going nature.
