Charles Bennett

Charles Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Charles started their career in 1981 as a Petroleum Engineering Technician at Mobil Oil, where they designed and supervised wellwork operations and managed facility construction projects. Charles then worked as an Automated Systems Technician before moving on to become a Production Foreman and Lead Supervisor. Charles later transitioned to the role of Continuous Improvement Advisor, facilitating teams and implementing CI tools/processes to improve operations performance.

In 2000, Charles joined ExxonMobil and took on various roles, including Mobile Bay Offshore Field Superintendent and US Production Best Practices Coordinator. Charles also served as a Maintenance Superintendent, providing support for maintenance planning and execution, and as the US Production Maintenance Ops Supt, overseeing maintenance management for ExxonMobil Upstream US. During their time at ExxonMobil, Charles gained expertise in maintenance processes, tools, planning and scheduling, and reliability leadership.

Subsequently, Charles joined XTO Energy in 2016 as the Manager of Compression, where they managed compression operations. Charles later became the Production Superintendent, responsible for overseeing production activities.

Currently, Charles is working at BKV Corporation, starting in 2022 as Sr Operations Advisor and then progressing to the role of Head of Operations in February 2023.

Charles Bennett obtained an Associate of Science degree (A.S.) in Petroleum Technology/Technician from Louisiana Tech University between the years 1979 and 1981. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (B.A.Sc.) in Petroleum Engineering at Nichols State University from 1992 to 1994.
