Travis Lauer

Travis Lauer is a seasoned professional in the drilling and completions sector with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Drilling & Completions at BKV Corporation since October 2022, Travis oversees multiple rigs drilling in the Bakken and Three Forks formations in North Dakota and Montana. Previous positions include Drilling Manager at RimRock Oil & Gas and a decade-long tenure at Whiting Petroleum Corporation, where Travis held roles as Drilling Manager and Drilling Engineer. Travis also contributed as a Senior Drilling Engineer at El Paso Exploration and Production, managing a rig program in Uintah Basin. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned from 2001 to 2004.
