Alex Llerena

Alex Llerena currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Blach Construction Company since November 2023. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Chief Financial Officer at WBE (W. Bradley Electric, Inc.) from June 2022 to November 2023. From August 2017 to May 2022, Alex worked at Bechtel Mining & Metals as CFO, Ethics & Compliance Officer, and Principal VP, where responsibilities included overseeing financial strategy and compliance for a multibillion-dollar business. Earlier in the career, Alex spent over a decade at Bechtel Corporation, initially as General Manager and Principal VP of Bechtel Business Services, tasked with transforming global shared services, and later as Head of International Tax, focusing on tax planning and strategy for major international projects. Alex also served as VP of International Tax at Oracle from January 2003 to December 2005, managing tax functions for a vast international presence. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and an MPA in Taxation from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
