Michael Benjamin

Michael Benjamin currently serves as Vice President of Technology & Innovation at Blachford Acoustics Group, leading initiatives in technology development, new product innovation, and quality assurance. With extensive experience from James Hardie, Michael held multiple leadership roles, including Sr. Director of Global Innovation, where responsibility encompassed overseeing a $20M annual budget and a global team focused on fiber cement and fiber gypsum innovations. Notable achievements include enhancing product performance and achieving significant cost improvements through lean methodologies. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Bharathiar University, along with ongoing studies in the Chief Product Officer Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
