John Geiger

John Geiger is a developer at Black Airplane. John was previously a product developer at Teaching.com from August 2019 to March 2021. John was responsible for updates and repairs to SQRs, Pages, COBOL, PeopleCode, and more. John also did research and applied regulatory updates. The company was bought out and dismantled. From November 2013 to August 2019, they were a senior web developer at White Sunrise LLC, where they did agile development for major corporations to minor startups focusing mainly on the LAMP stack but also delving into Rails, Node, and anything else the client needs. From March 2001 to December 2005, they were an expert software developer (Hyperion) at T.B.S. Enterprise Applications, where they were the lead technical resource for Hyperion Planning implementation. This included dimension architecture, business rules, forms, and automation of loads through data aware PERL scripting and HAL interfaces. John also acted as a liaison to the user base for multiple projects and made complex architectures easy for the functional community to understand. From November 2012 to December 2014, they were a PHP developer at Sudden Development.

John Geiger's educational career began with him obtaining their GED. John then ran the computer department starting their Junior year in highschool.

Their manager is Emmett Deen, Engineering Manager. They work with Joy Sutton - Developer, Ben Richards - Developer, and Joey Kimsey - Developer.
