Project Manager at Black Airplane

Lillie Russell is a project manager at Black Airplane. Lillie was previously a communications and marketing intern at Smilemundo, where they researched and designed mathematical education tools for the European Union’s Erasmus+ project to be used in primary schools in Spain, Poland, Ireland and the Netherlands. Lillie also assisted with the creation of a methodology based on active learning and games for the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals used to train over 4,000 members of the Catalan public administration in Spain. In addition, Lillie created social media campaigns, re-designed the company website and edited all English promotional materials.

Before their time at Smilemundo, Lillie worked as a media content creator at Pine Cove, where they photographed, edited and distributed images of over 2,400 campers during eight weeks. Lillie also contributed to social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat to improve branding.

Lillie has also worked as a tour leader at the Visitors Center at the University of Georgia and as a freelance photographer through their own photography business, Lillie Russell Photography.

Lillie Russell has a degree in public relations from Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. Lillie also has a degree in international affairs from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. In addition, Lillie has certification from LinkedIn in Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management, Cherokee County in Notary Public, Project Management Institute in Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and Scrum Alliance in Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

They are on a team with David Leggett - Partner, Technology, Brandon Schultze - Account Executive, and Zachary Capes - QA Analyst. Their manager is Michael Caldwell, Managing Partner.
