Samuel Ramirez

Samuel Ramirez has worked in the energy industry since 2007. Samuel began their career as an Engineering Intern at Makani Power, where they assisted the engineering team with high altitude wind testing and film and video editing. In 2008, they were a Product Management Intern at SunEdison. Samuel then worked as a MAP Fellow at Rocky Mountain Institute from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Product Development Intern at SunLink. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Systems Reliability Energy Analyst and Energy Efficiency Process Developer at SolarCity. Finally, from 2014 to 2015, they were an Associate at Rocky Mountain Institute and then a Vice President and Director of Operations at Black Bear Energy Inc.

Samuel Ramirez attended Stanford University from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Earth Systems - Sustainable Energy Deployment. Prior to that, they attended St. Mark's. No additional certifications are listed.
