Doug Brown has a diverse work experience in various industries. Doug founded and served as the President of Black Book Research since 2010. Doug also worked as an Author for John Wiley and Sons, specifically for "The Black Book of Outsourcing", which became a bestselling business book. Doug was a Partner at Brown Wilson Group, a startup offering competitive analysis and strategic market consulting in the outsourcing industry. Before that, they were the Head of Global Marketing at Datamonitor, and prior to that, held various roles in Sales & Marketing at McKesson. Doug also has experience in Hospital Administration, having worked with BayCare Health System, HCA Hospitals, Bon Secours Health System, UM Jackson Memorial Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Health System as a Management Engineer.
Doug Brown attended the University of Florida, where they pursued a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science/Public Administration. Doug then enrolled in a Masters Degree Program in Hospital and Healthcare Administration at the University of Houston. In 2009, Doug pursued a Graduate Certificate in Global Marketing from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completing the program in 2010.
