Yanping Wang

Yanping (Vicky) Wang is a seasoned Materials Engineering Manager at Black Cat Wear Parts since April 2017, where leadership is provided to a diverse team focusing on materials engineering disciplines such as chemistry, heat treatment, welding, and fracture mechanics. Prior experience includes working as a Materials Engineer at Black Cat Blades from October 2013 to April 2017, executing steel-related projects and fostering collaboration among production, design, and lab teams. A Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta from October 2009 to December 2012, significant advancements in erosion resistance of high-Cr cast irons were achieved. Earlier experience at Harbin Institute of Technology involved leading a research team and making notable contributions in alloy phase identification. Yanping Wang holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Materials Engineering from HeBei University of Science and Technology.
