Peter Gieser

Peter Gieser has over 20 years of work experience, beginning in 1994 as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Florida. In 1999, they moved to the University of South Florida in the same role. In 2000, they joined GTE as a Java Developer, followed by BP in 2001 and 2002 as a Vitria Developer. In 2003, they began working at ThoughtWorks, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2007, they became a Senior Associate at International Fund Services, and in 2009 they joined <intent> as a Senior Staff Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2020 they began working at Black Crow AI as a Senior Staff Engineer.

Peter Gieser obtained their PhD in Statistics from the University of Florida in 1993, followed by a Master of Statistics from the same university in 1990. In 2016, they earned a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates. In 2018, Peter Gieser obtained a Developer Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
