Stephane Desrosiers

Stephane Desrosiers has over 25 years of experience in software development. Stephane began their career in 1996 at Collège La Cité, where they worked on UI components for Telecours, a distance-education software. Stephane continued their software development work at OCAS, where they worked on projects such as the Confederation College Y2K Registrar project and the conneXions! distance-education software.

In 2000, Stephane joined Visual Networks (formerly Avesta Technologies) as a Software Developer, working on eWatcher, an eCommerce website monitoring application. Stephane also worked on the HP OpenView adapter for Trinity NMS.

Stephane then joined Ciena in 2001, taking on various senior developer roles. Stephane worked on projects such as Blue Planet MCP NMS web application, OneControl NMS - Wavelength Service Management, OneControl NMS - Systems Platform, and ON-Center NMS.

In 2020, Stephane joined Shopify as a Senior Front End Developer. Stephane worked on projects such as the buyer-facing checkout front-end pages and the merchant-visible administration UI relating to products.

Most recently, Stephane joined Black Crow AI in 2022 as a Senior Javascript Developer.

Throughout their career, Stephane has gained expertise in languages such as Java, JavaScript, and C++. Stephane has developed UI components, worked on service provisioning and visualization, and collaborated with various teams to bring new features to fruition. Stephane's roles have involved working with frameworks like Preact, React, and Ember.js, and they have experience in both frontend and backend development.

Stephane Desrosiers attended Collège La Cité from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Technologie Informatique - Computer Technologist. During this time, their field of study focused on Computer Programming.
