Black Directors Health Equity Agenda
Deborah D. Phillips is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in health equity, marketing, and communications across various sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda since 2021, Phillips leads efforts to eradicate health disparities affecting Black families. In addition, Phillips has been with Gray Matter Analytics since 2015, initially as the Interim Executive Director and now as a Senior Advisor, focusing on optimizing value-based care performance. Previous roles include Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Cleversafe, Director positions at Cisco Systems and Motorola Solutions, and leadership roles at AT&T and Dynamic Concepts. Educational credentials include degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Black Directors Health Equity Agenda
The Black Directors Health Equity Agenda is made up of board directors and senior leaders who are working to eradicate the health disparities and inequities that threaten the individual and collective prosperity of Black families. As change agents, its members across the health ecosystem, foster and facilitate board education for up-and-coming leaders, encourage revised business models, spur innovative thinking and action and support policy reforms that advance health equity for Black Americans that will ultimately ensure equal and fair healthcare for all.
