Rashid Desai

Rashid Desai has extensive experience developing commercial technology products and solutions, including delivering and strengthening technology infrastructure, technology cloud architecture, and cloud engineering. At Black Dragon, Mr. Desai advises on technology investments and operational improvements within the portfolio.

Previously, he served as SVP and CTO for Avid Technology, Managing Director, CIO and CTO for Barclaycard, EVP and CTO at Open Solutions, and SVP at Equifax. At Open Solutions, he was the primary architect of the award-winning open API banking suite, DNA. Mr. Desai was also part of the digital transformation of Barclaycard and helped develop the cloud-based MediaCentral operating system for Avid.
