David Kent has a long history of work experience. David began their career in 2003 as a CS106 (Intro CompSci) Section Leader at Stanford University, where they led a section of students and was responsible for grading programming assignments, answering technical questions, and teaching section once a week. In 2005, they joined Amazon.com as a Software Development Engineer, where they were responsible for establishing the direction of Vendor Returns' software architecture and improving the stability, extensibility, and simplicity of the codebase. In 2009, they began working at Optiver as a Manager, Automated Trading Systems, and subsequently held the roles of Automated Trading Team Lead, Trading Tools Team Lead, and Business Intelligence Team Lead. In 2021, they joined Garden Leave as Garden Leave and in 2022, they began working at BlackEdge Capital as Chief Operating Officer.
David Kent attended Stanford University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
