D. Bernard Webster

D. Bernard Webster serves as the Executive Director at the New York Institute of Technology since 2015, overseeing the operation and execution of the SOM-CES strategic plan. In addition to this role, D. Bernard Webster is the Regional Ambassador for BEtechThinkful, an initiative aimed at promoting tech inclusion for persons of color. With significant experience as Chief Innovation Officer at Vanguarde Consulting Group since 2008 and as a Facilitator of various entrepreneurial programs for the NYC Department of Small Business Services, D. Bernard Webster has continually focused on supporting small business innovation and development. As Co-Founder and Director of Adolescent Services for the Open Door Arts-in-Education Project, D. Bernard Webster has contributed to student enrichment through technology and arts programs. A Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MFA from New York University, D. Bernard Webster combines a strong educational background with extensive leadership in community and entrepreneurial initiatives.
