Mike Rankins

Mike Rankins has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Mike began their career in 1995 as an Intern at Visteon. In 2000, they joined Fairchild Semiconductor as a Staff Productline Engineer, then moved up to Sr. Product Marketing Manager, and then Staff Product Marketing Manager. In 2013, they joined Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as Business Development. In 2017, they were Business Area Director of ASICs at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions - Microelectronics Solutions. In 2018, they were Business Area Director Sr. - ASICs at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions. Since 2019, they have been Vice President of Business & Operations / General Manager at both Luminar Technologies and Black Forest Engineering.

Mike Rankins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2000, after studying there from 1995 to 2000. Mike then returned to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in 2004.
