Heather Hiles

Heather Hiles is an accomplished entrepreneur and education leader with extensive experience in various sectors. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Imminent Equity since August 2022 and a Director at Udemy since August 2020, Hiles focuses on innovative approaches in equity and education. Hiles has served on the Board of Directors for Black Girls CODE and Made in Africa™, the largest modern African textile company, since 2018 and 2010, respectively. Previous roles include Managing Partner at Black Ops Ventures, Founder and CEO of Imminent Equity, Senior Education Advisor at Cengage Learning, and Chancellor & CEO of Calbright College, where a groundbreaking online community college was established to support underemployed Californians. Hiles has held advisory positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Pivotal Ventures, and offers a rich academic background with an MBA from Yale University and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
