Black Girls CODE
Kristina F. has a diverse work experience that spans various organizations and roles. Kristina currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Black Girls CODE, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Achievement First from 2017 to 2022, where they held the roles of School Operations Director and Director of Student Life | Director of Operations in Residence. Kristina F. completed their undergraduate education at the University at Albany, SUNY, where they studied Communication in the Rhetoric. Following that, in 2013, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Youth Studies at CUNY School of Professional Studies. In 2024, they obtained a certification in "How to Be More Strategic in Six Steps" from LinkedIn.

Black Girls CODE
Black Girls CODE is a global movement. Founded in 2011, the San Francisco based nonprofit introduces young girls of color, ages 6-17, to computer programming, electrical engineering, mobile app development, robotics and other STEM fields. In 2012 the nonprofit launched in 10 cities nationwide and expanded to South Africa. Voted as "2012 Most Innovative Nonprofit" by Bank of the West, the nonprofit continues to expand and empower hundreds of girls worldwide.
