Neil R. Wyler

Neil R. Wyler is an accomplished professional in the cybersecurity field, currently serving as Vice President of Defensive Services at Coalfire since July 2024. With extensive experience, Neil has held prominent roles such as Sr. Network Operations Lead at Black Hat Security Briefings since February 2003 and Department Lead for Contests/Events/Villages/Parties at DEF CON since 2000. Previous positions include Global Lead of Active Threat Assessments at IBM, Field CTO and Principal Threat Hunter at RSA Security, and Sr. Systems Engineer at EMC. Neil's expertise is complemented by a solid educational background with degrees from Weber State University and the Community College of the Air Force.
