Andrew Ley is a Learning Specialist currently working at Black Hills Special Services Cooperative since July 2022. Previously, Andrew served as a Learning Specialist at Technology and Innovation in Education (TIE) until April 2024 and as a Secondary School Teacher at Rapid City Area Schools from August 2015 to June 2022, where responsibilities included designing instructional curriculum incorporating technological innovation, managing eLearning systems, and analyzing performance data to enhance student learning. Andrew also has coaching experience in tennis and has worked as a naturalist, educating the public about local ecology and wildlife in various settings, including Custer State Park and Laramie River Dude Ranch. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Minnesota Duluth, completed in May 2013.

Our mission is to build strong communities by helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential. Since 1980 BHSSC has enhanced life in South Dakota. We are a public entity governed by a board of elected school board members from 12 public school districts committed to shared services. Programs are also available to non-member districts.
