Avery Craven

Avery Craven is a marketing and communications coordinator at Black Hills Works since January 2023, while also serving as a small business owner of Hill & Coast since April 2018, focusing on creating distinct and intentional designs. As a co-owner of Sweet Fluff Artisanal Cotton Candy, Avery offers organic and artisanal cotton candy catering for special events. Previously, leadership roles included director of training and development at Pure Bean Coffeehouse, where a focus on specialty coffee roasting and customer service was central, and primary event lead at Prairie Berry Winery. Internship experience includes a role at Americans for Prosperity, which involved community engagement and educational initiatives. Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Philosophy from Thomas Aquinas College and various certifications from the Specialty Coffee Association and Grassroots Leadership Academy.
