Jon Schmidt

Jon Schmidt is an experienced Operational Technology Specialist at Black Hills Energy, where responsibilities include supporting Industrial Control Systems, application support, system architecture, and ensuring NERC/TSA compliance since November 2014. Previously, Jon served as a Senior System Operator, providing safe and reliable operation of the distribution system. Prior experience includes utility operations support for the U.S. Department of the Air Force, facilities management at Lockheed Martin, generator technician duties at Aggreko, and HVAC/R system servicing at G&R Controls. Jon holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in HVAC/R Automated Controls from Southeast Tech.
