Declan Andrews

Declan Andrews is an experienced visual effects professional currently serving as the 2D Lead at Black Kite Studios since April 2025. Previously, Declan worked at The Mill from January 2016 to April 2025, holding various positions including VFX Supervisor, Lead Compositor, Compositor, and Runner. Prior to that, experience includes roles as a Runner and Rotoscope Artist at Double Negative from February to October 2015, and a Junior VFX Artist at Impossible Factual for a brief period in October 2014. Additionally, Declan contributed as a Texture Artist on the project Monsters: Dark Continent in May 2013. Declan holds a degree in Visual Effects for Film and Television from The University of Bolton, completed in 2014.
