Mike Brown is an advisor at Black Kite and the founder and president of Spinnaker Security LLC. Mike has also served on the board of advisors for Boat School Ventures and as a managing partner for Resilient Advisors. Mike has also taken much needed time off to enjoy family life as a father and grandfather. Prior to their current positions, Mike served as the president of RSA Federal LLC, the security division of EMC. Mike was also responsible for strategy and engagement with the US federal government, state and local governments, critical infrastructure organizations, and international public sector organizations as the VP & GM Global Public Sector and Vice President and General Manager, Federal Business at RSA. Mike began their career in public service as the Assistant Deputy Director Joint Interagency Task Force at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Director for SIGINT and Information Operations at Naval Network Warfare Command. Mike has also served as the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff for Commander, Naval Security Group Command and as the Commanding Officer for NAVIOCOM in Suitland.

Mike Brown has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Arts in National and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
