Sam Fox

Sam Fox has worked in the IT industry since 2011. Sam began their career at Ohio University as a Student Intern of Operations, Student Coordinator, Student Leader, and Student Worker. In 2013, they joined Marathon Petroleum Company as an IT Information Management Intern/Co-op. In 2014, they moved to Marathon Petroleum Corporation as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Red Team, Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, IT Infrastructure Auditor, and IT Services - DCS Administrator. In 2020, they joined Black Lantern Security as a Red Team Operations Manager and Red Team Lead. During their time at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, they executed and lead penetration testing assessments within the local environment for both IT and OT and performed vulnerability analysis and assessment for corporate assets.

Sam Fox graduated from Ohio University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication (B.S.C.) in Information and Telecommunication Systems. Since then, Fox has obtained three professional certifications: Offensive Security Certified Professional from Offensive Security in July 2019, GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) from SANS Institute in October 2019, and GIAC Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA) from SANS Institute in February 2019.
