Sharea Ayers

Sharea Ayers is an experienced professional in educational program development and community engagement, currently serving as the Director at Black Leaders Detroit since August 2022, where responsibilities include managing membership growth and marketing strategies. Previously, Sharea held various roles within the Detroit Public Schools Community District, including Program Associate I and Attendance Coordinator, focusing on workshop coordination, community partnerships, and attendance initiatives. Additional experience includes teaching in the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program, directing Detroit City Camp, and mentoring at the Michigan State University Extension. Sharea holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University and two Bachelor's degrees in Education from Bowling Green State University.
