Jody Jankovsky

Founder, CEO at Black Line IT

Jody Jankovsky has a long and varied career in the software industry. Jody began their career in 1986 as a Software Programmer at JSJ & Associates, where they solved complex business problems and addressed operational challenges with custom software systems. In 1989, they moved to Arthur Andersen & Co. as an Application Developer, where they were responsible for the design, coding and implementation of tax accounting systems. In 1992, they joined Greenbrier & Russel as a Senior Engineer, specializing in client/server tools and technologies. In 1993, they founded Black Line IT, where they spent most of their time in business development, market engagement and acquisitions. Jody also developed the many processes and disciplines in support of acquiring new clients, selling additional services to existing clients and identifying acquisition targets for additional growth. Additionally, they developed operational processes, policies and human resource disciplines to appropriately manage their growing client base.

Jody Jankovsky attended Illinois State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Accounting.
