Nicole Collins has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Nicole is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Black News Channel, LLC, where they are responsible for developing human capital strategies and scaling the company. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Recruiter at MV Transportation from 2018 to 2020. From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Global Acquisitions Hiring Partner at IBM, where they managed the end-to-end acquisition hiring process across multiple global locations. Nicole has also served as an HR Staffing Manager at DeKalb County School District from 2012 to 2015 and as an HR Shared Services Manager at the State of Georgia from 2009 to 2012. Nicole started their career as an HR Director at Discovery Communications and Randstad from 2003 to 2008.
Nicole Collins pursued their education starting in 1989 when they attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. There, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, graduating in 1992. Following that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Georgia State University, where they obtained another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Public Relations. Continuing their academic journey, Nicole enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2002 and completed their Master's Degree in Organizational Management, Human Resources in 2004. Lastly, in 2013 and 2014, they attended Lincoln Memorial University, earning an ED.S. degree in Instructional Leadership & Administration.
