Janet Gairdner

Janet Gairdner is an experienced media professional with a strong background in publishing and sales management. Currently serving as Associate Group Publisher at Black Press Media since May 2021, Janet also holds the position of Publisher for Saanich News & Oak Bay News since April 2019 and for Saanich News since July 2018. Previously, Janet was Publisher for Oak Bay News & Tweed Magazine from July 2015 to July 2018 and served as Advertising Director at Boulevard Magazine & Monday Magazine from September 2014 to July 2015. Janet's career at Black Press began as Sales Manager for Greater Victoria from April 2012 to September 2014, followed by Sales Manager and Advertising Consultant roles at Monday Magazine and Oak Bay News, respectively. Additionally, Janet worked as an Account Executive at A Channel - CTVglobemedia from September 2005 to September 2009 and as Account Manager at Copeland Communications from May 2000 to September 2005.
