Deb Bemis

Deb Bemis is an experienced purchasing manager with a career spanning over three decades in the healthcare industry. Currently retired and previously serving in the role of Purchasing Manager at Black River Memorial Hospital since November 2001, Deb has been instrumental in managing purchasing employees, negotiating GPO contracts, and overseeing capital purchases. Prior to this, Deb held the position of Purchasing Director at Krohn Clinic from January 1993 to November 2001, where responsibilities included all purchasing duties and the establishment of a new Materials Management System. Deb began the career as a Pharmaceutical Technician at Black River Falls Clinic Pharmacy, gaining experience in filling medication orders for nursing home patients. Deb holds an Associate's Degree in Design and Visual Communications from Western Technical College.
