Paul Sims

Paul Sims has extensive work experience in the finance and mining industry. Paul is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Black Rock Mining Ltd since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager at Nyrstar from January 2021 to April 2022. Paul also served as a Finance Director at Auctus Minerals Pty Ltd from August 2014 to September 2020. Before that, they held various positions at Karara Mining Ltd, Gippsland Limited, Minara Resources, WMC Resources, BHP Billiton, and Ranger Uranium Mines, where they gained experience in roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Commercial Manager, and Financial Analyst. Paul has a strong track record of implementing rectification plans, negotiating contracts, managing operations, and delivering cost reductions.

Paul Sims completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University from 1981 to 1983. Paul also attended Aquinas College from 1975 to 1979 for their High School education.
