John Cochran

John Cochran currently serves as the Director of Land Administration at Black Stone Minerals, L.P. since June 2023. Prior to this role, John held various positions including Personnel Manager and Materials Coordinator at Wyatt Field Service Company from June 2021 to June 2023. John's previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Land and Business Development at Elm Grove Resources LLC and Vice President of Land at US Energy Corp. Additionally, John worked as a Landman at Crimson Exploration and held several positions related to division of interest analysis at Meridian Resources Corp, Southwestern Energy, and Apache Corporation. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Houston between 2004 and 2005.
