Dannika Essl

Dannika Essl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dannika is currently working at Black Swan Data, where they started as an Intern Insights Associate in March 2021. Dannika then progressed to become an Insights Consultant in March 2022 and further advanced to the position of Senior Insights Consultant in March 2023.

In addition to their work at Black Swan Data, Dannika volunteered as a Research Volunteer at White Swan (Charity) starting in May 2021. Dannika also participated in the GlobCom Project, a global virtual team learning project run by the Global Communication Institute, where they reached the semi-finals.

Dannika gained early work experience as an Intern Sales Consultant at Italtile Limited from October 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at The Terrace as a Junior Manager and Assistant to the General Manager from September 2017 to April 2019. Dannika also worked as a Sales Promoter at Veritas Events from February 2017 to February 2018, and as an Intern Sales and Property Specialist at Engel & Völkers Stellenbosch from March 2017 to June 2017.

Dannika Essl's education history is as follows:

In 2011-2015, Dannika attended Milnerton High School and obtained a National Senior Certificate. During this time, their field of study included Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Visual Studies, Business Studies, Life Sciences, and Life Orientation.

From 2016 to 2019, Dannika studied at Stellenbosch University and earned a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree. Dannika'sfield of study focused on Marketing Management and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.

In 2019-2021, they pursued a Diploma in Interior Design at The Interior Design Institute.

In 2020, Dannika attended Stellenbosch University again and completed an Honours Bcom degree in Business Management, specializing in Marketing Management.

In 2021, they took a short course on Social Media Marketing at the University of Cape Town.

Also in 2021, Dannika obtained Open Water Certification from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

Looking ahead to 2023, Dannika plans to study at the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business and earn a Certification in Graphic Design with Adobe Illustrator, focusing on Graphic Design.
