Alex Lomis

Alex Lomis is an Aerospace Engineer at Black Swift Technologies since July 2023, with a background in diverse engineering roles. Previously, Alex worked at the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory where efforts focused on developing advanced sensors for energy consumption monitoring. Alex gained foundational engineering experience at Anduril Industries as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op, as well as hands-on skills in drone repair and electronics at Vivid Aerial R/C. Additional experience includes an internship at Vanderbilt University in a surgical analytics lab and creating and instructing an R/C airplane camp for middle school students. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
