Allan G. Gilson

Assoc. Vice President, Instrument Control Discipline Chief Engineer at Black & Veatch

Allan G. Gilson is an experienced engineering professional with a long tenure at Black & Veatch, starting in July 1998, where Allan serves as Associate Vice President and Instrument Control Discipline Chief Engineer. In this role, Allan oversees electrical, instrument, and control engineering processes across global power and oil & gas business lines. Previous positions at Black & Veatch include Electrical Control Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager for Oil & Gas projects. In addition to work at Black & Veatch, Allan is an active member of the ASME Performance Test Code Temperature Measurement committee and previously contributed to the ASME Committee on Turbine Water Damage Prevention. Prior experience includes roles at Burns & McDonnell and Didde Web Press. Allan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
