Andrew G. McMaster

Independent Lead Director at Black & Veatch

Andrew McMaster, Jr., joined the Black & Veatch Board of Directors in June 2015. In May 2015, McMaster retired from Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the world's largest professional services networks providing audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services. A retired Senior Partner, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, he spent his entire 39-year career with Deloitte & Touche. He served as Vice Chairman at Deloitte since 2002 and was responsible for starting the firm's Forensic Services Practice at a time when forensic accounting was still a new concept. He also served as National Managing Partner of Deloitte's CEO client program.

Mr. McMaster also currently serves on the Board of Directors of UBS Americas Holding LLC, a subsidiary of UBS AG, and Avon Products, Inc, where he serves as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee on both boards, and as Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Committee (FASAC), an advisory body to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).

McMaster earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, and his MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He previously served on the Deloitte LLP and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd Boards. In addition, he serves as Vice Chair of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Board of Trustees and was formerly the audit committee Chair for the National Episcopal Church.
