Drake Sivils

Drake Sivils is an Instrumentation and Control Engineer II at Black & Veatch, with experience as a Process Engineer in the chemical feed group since February 2023. An undergraduate researcher at the University of Missouri-Columbia since August 2018, Drake has investigated the composition of nanometer thin-films through neutron scattering and has characterized dielectric properties using electrochemical experimentation. Additionally, Drake has served as a Math-Based Science Tutor, enhancing interpersonal skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts, and has worked as a cashier at Price Chopper, focusing on customer service. Earlier experience includes serving as an IT Assistant at Traffic Graphix, where routine hardware maintenance and troubleshooting were key responsibilities. Drake holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Materials Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2021.
