Jason Rowell

Vice President, New Energy Solutions Leader At Black & Veatch at Black & Veatch

Jason Rowell is a seasoned professional in energy solutions with extensive experience at Black & Veatch since April 2007, currently serving as Vice President and New Energy Solutions Leader. Jason oversees the New Energy Solutions portfolio, focusing on innovative technologies such as hydrogen, ammonia, and sustainable fuels. Previously, Jason held various leadership roles including Associate Vice President for Global Technology Portfolio Manager, Project Commercial Manager, and Gas Power Technologies Manager, which involved managing gas turbine installations and ensuring project execution from inception to operation. Jason's career began as a Mechanical Engineer and has included significant roles at GE Nuclear Energy and GE Energy. Jason holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. Additionally, Jason served on the Board of Directors for the California Hydrogen Business Council from January 2021 to December 2022.
