Nick Alexandrou

Nick Alexandrou, IAM, GISP, currently serves as the Digital Solutions Lead at Black & Veatch since August 2021, focusing on various aspects of technology integration in asset and information management. Prior to this role, Nick was a Project Manager and Senior Associate at Stantec, leading municipal, state, and federal projects with expertise in process automation, IT system architecture, and ISO55000 compliance. Nick has also held key positions as GIS Manager for the City of Sarasota, where responsibilities included modernizing workflows and steering GIS initiatives, and as GIS Coordinator for the Lee County Port Authority, overseeing GIS solution implementations. Academic experience includes serving as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and involvement in graduate studies at Florida State University, where Nick earned a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science after completing a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature.
