Sagar Aslekar

Sagar Aslekar, P.E. is an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Substation Engineering at Black & Veatch since September 2014, where responsibilities include Substation Protection & Control, Outdoor/Physical Design, and leading the Transmission SCADA Replacement Program EPC. Prior to this, Sagar served as a Lab Manager and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte, contributing to courses on Electromagnetic Devices and Energy Systems. Sagar's earlier experience includes working as an Executive Engineer at Siemens, focusing on automation in the Pulp & Paper and Cement Technology sectors. Sagar holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
