Stephen Bowers

Stephen Bowers, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and structural engineering. Currently serving as Associate Vice President and Project Director at Black & Veatch since September 2016, Stephen specializes in hydropower and hydraulic structures. From February 2012 to February 2020, Stephen worked as the Pastor of Education at The Gathering in Chattanooga, overseeing discipleship and teaching initiatives. Stephen's earlier roles include Project Engineer and Structural Engineer at Mesa Associates, Inc., where technical direction was provided to design teams and complex engineering solutions were established. Stephen began a career in structural engineering at Peters Equipment and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University Institute of Technology, earned in 2006.
