Okwu Njoku is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and project execution across various sectors. As Co-Founder and Partner at Blackaion Capital since October 2019, Okwu leads the firm's investment and financing activities. Prior roles include Regional Deal Execution Leader for Nigeria and West Africa at GE Capital, where responsibilities encompassed project development, structuring, and capital raising in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Okwu served on the Board of Directors at Baker Hughes, a GE company, and held leadership positions in project finance, investment strategy, and corporate treasury at various GE subsidiaries and other organizations. Okwu holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of St. Thomas.
