Todd Slack

Todd Slack is a seasoned professional in privacy and data protection, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Privacy and Head of Internal Audit at BlackBerry since August 2022. In this role, Todd leads the global internal audit function and manages privacy programs, advising senior management on compliance with privacy laws and risk management. Previously, Todd held positions at Atlassian as Sr. Privacy and Product Counsel, where the focus was on incident management and regulatory compliance, and at Splunk as Director of Data Protection Counsel, overseeing a global team on privacy-related legal matters. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Director of Cyber Counsel, LLC and as a Partner at Huber, Slack, Thomas & Marcelle, where Todd specialized in civil litigation and advisory services in data protection. Todd Slack holds a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans, an MS in Digital Forensic Science from Champlain College, and a BA in Computer Systems/Accounting from Grove City College.
