Blackbird
Heather Blackbird is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Blackbird, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Arts People from April 2006 to February 2020.
Heather Blackbird earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from The Evergreen State College, which they attended from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1986, they attended the San Francisco Art Institute, where they studied Photography. Later, from 1996 to 1998, Heather pursued further education at Portland State University and completed a Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies.
