Yixuan Qiu

Yixuan Qiu, Ph.D. is currently the Associate Director of Research Programs at Blackbird Laboratories since July 2023. Prior to this role, Yixuan worked as a Research Scientist at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) where they co-led projects related to addiction and pain therapeutics. Yixuan's experience includes managing cross-functional teams, developing biochemical assays, and overseeing toxicology studies. With a background in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Yixuan has also held roles such as Senior Research Scientist at Reaction Biology Corporation and Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University. Internship experience includes working as a Food Safety Investigator at the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration.
