Ian McDonough

Ian McDonough is the current CEO at Blackbird Suite. Ian has held many prestigious positions throughout their career in the media industry.

Ian began their career at BSkyB in May 2006 as Commercial Director for A+E Networks Europe. In January 2009, they moved to BBC Worldwide as EVP & GM for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ian was responsible for all BBC Worldwide businesses in 102 countries across the region.

In August 2014, they joined Turner (Turner Broadcasting System, Inc) as SVP & Managing Director for UK & Northern Europe. Ian was promoted to CEO of Blackbird Suite in April 2017.

Ian McDonough has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Exeter, an Executive management degree from Harvard Business School Executive Education, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Imperial College London, and a Finance for Senior Managers degree from London Business School.
