Sumit Rai

Sumit Rai is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Product Officer at Blackbird plc since June 2022, previously holding the same title at MAGIX Software from July 2020 to June 2022. Prior to these roles, Rai was the Chief Experience Officer at Qumu Corporation and the CEO & Founder of Kulu Valley, a company established based on research into cognitive behavior at University College London, focusing on effective communication for businesses. Additionally, Rai has held positions as Chief Software Engineer at Cheerful Twentyfirst and Director Of Technology at Pukka Films Ltd, along with experience as a VFX & Video Editor at Floella Benjamin Productions. Educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from UCL and earlier studies at Dulwich College and Dulwich College Preparatory School.
