Deirdre Smith

Deirdre Smith began their work experience in 2005 as a Part Time Assistant at Turoe Pet Farm & Leisure Park. Deirdre then worked as a Software Developer at OpenJaw Technologies from June 2011 to June 2012. In October 2012, they joined Thiess as a Business Analyst and stayed there until August 2014. From August 2014 to January 2017, Deirdre worked as a Business Analyst at Shortcuts Software, and then transitioned to the role of Product Owner until August 2018. Deirdre is currently employed at Blackbook.ai, where they hold the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Delivery Manager, starting in August 2018.

Deirdre Smith graduated from St. Killian's Vocational School in 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they attended the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer and Software Engineering. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education at the same institution from 2010 to 2011, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Software Engineering.
